Volkswagen, Northvolt form 50:50 JV to produce batteries for EVs
Production expected to start by the end of 2023 or beginning of 2024
Volkswagen (VW) and Northvolt have formed a 50:50 joint venture (JV) to build a factory for lithium-ion batteries in Germany, VW announced in a press release on 6 September
