TomTom unveils autonomous test vehicle
The customized test vehicle is designed to improve TomTom’s autonomous driving technologies
TomTom has unveiled its latest fully autonomous driving test vehicle, the company said in a press release on 5 September. The new test vehicle features eight laser scanners, stereo cameras and six radars to provide a 360° view of its surrounding environment. The extensive sensor set allows for testing of different sensor configurations.
