Benteler partners with Automobili Pininfarina to develop high-performance EV platform
Automobili Pininfarina is also collaborating with Bosch
Benteler has entered a collaboration agreement with Automobili Pininfarina to develop a high-performance electric vehicle platform, the Germany-based supplier said in a press release on 9 September. The jointly developed platform will form the basis of Pininfarina’s future range of luxury electric cars. The first model developed by Pininfarina will be based on Benteler’s platform solutions and will be an electric SUV. The new vehicle is expected to be launched in 2022.
