IAA 2019: BMW unveils iHydrogen NEXT FCEV
BMW is planning to planning to present the next generation of hydrogen fuel cell electric drive systems in a small-series vehicle, based on the current X5 SUV by 2022
BMW has unveiled iHydrogen NEXT fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) at the IAA 2019 in Frankfurt, Germany, the company said in a press release on 10 September. According to BMW, the iHydrogen vehicle demonstrates that FCEV technology can be integrated effectively into a model like the X5. The German carmaker is planning to present the next generation of hydrogen fuel cell electric drive systems in a small-series vehicle, based on the current BMW X5 SUV by 2022.
