UK-based ZapGo develops solid-state Carbon-Ion cell for EV batteries
Company claims Carbon-Ion technology offers prospect of charging EVs in five minutes and providing 350-mile range
ZapGo is developing solid-state Carbon-Ion battery which can be used as an alternate to widely used lithium-ion battery in electric vehicles (EV), according to a company’s press release. The UK-based company expects its Carbon-Ion battery to charge EV in five minutes and provide a driving range of 350 miles (500 kilometers).
