South Korea sets aside more than KRW1 trillion in subsidy for purchase of EVs in 2020

Nearly KRW738.2 billion will be for purchase of BEVs, and around KRW359.3 billion will be for purchase of FCEVs

South Korea is planning to offer KRW1 trillion (USD827 million) as purchase incentive for battery electric electric (BEV) and fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) in 2020, Yonhap News Agency reported earlier this month citing a government official.
