New solid-state lidar sensor delivers range of 150 meters with 10% reflection and a range of up to 250 meters with higher reflection

Blickfeld has unveiled its ‘Cube Range’ MEMS (micro-electromechanical system)-based lidar sensor for autonomous driving applications, the Germany-based company said in a press release on 23 September. The new solid-state lidar sensor delivers range of 150 meters with 10% reflection and a range of up to 250 meters with higher reflection. The new lidar has resolution of 0.18°.
