Ford to test self-driving vehicle fleet in US city Austin in collaboration with Argo AI

Third city after Miami and Washington DC where the US automaker is gearing to commercially launch self-driving vehicles in a ride-hailing service

Ford and its autonomous driving technology partner ArgoAI have announced plans to bring their self-driving test vehicle fleet to Austin, Texas, United States, the automaker said in a press release. The Texas state capital will also be the third US city after Miami and Washington DC where Ford is gearing up to launch its autonomous vehicle service. Ford is also testing its self-driving vehicles in Palo Alto, California; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Detroit, Michigan.
