GM suspends production at Mexican plant amid continuing UAW strike in US
The automaker had idled engine production at Silao facility last week
General Motors (GM) has suspended production at its Mexican plant located in Silao, Guanajuato that produces its Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups, temporarily laying off 6,000 workers, according to a report by CNBC on 1 October.
