Indorama Ventures acquires Italian polyester yarn supplier Sinterama
Acquisition strengthens Indorama Ventures' presence in automotive interior market
Indorama Ventures has acquired Sinterama, an Italy-based company specializing in colored polyester threads and yarns, for an undisclosed amount, the company said in a press release on 30 July. Founded in 1969, Sinterama operates five production facilities in Italy, Brazil, China and Bulgaria, employing 889 people. The company has a combined annual production capacity of around 30,000 tons. The acquisition is scheduled to be completed by third quarter of 2019, subject to regulatory approvals.
