Plant expected to produce 30 million cells per year by 2025

Automotive Electronics Power Private Ltd (AEPPL), a joint venture (JV) between Japanese Toshiba Corporation, Denso Corporation and Suzuki Motor Corporation, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the government of Indian state Gujarat for setting up a lithium-ion battery plant, reports Press Trust of India.
