Indian government places orders of Hyundai Kona electric SUVs
Government official cites better power and performance to choose the Hyundai Kona electric despite being more expensive than the Tata Tigor EV and the Mahindra e-Verito
The Indian government has placed orders with Hyundai for its new Kona electric compact SUVs for its officials, the local newspaper Mint reported today (21 October). According to the report, some government officials, including Power and Renewable Energy Minister Raj Kumar Singh and chairman and managing director of NTPC Gurdeep Singh, have already started using the new Kona electric as their official vehicle.
