CATL starts construction of lithium-ion battery plant in Germany
Plant is expected to have 14GWh production capacity of battery by 2022
Chinese battery maker Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) has broken ground on its new lithium-ion battery in Thuringia, Germany, the company announced in a press release on 18 October.
