Driveless shuttle transports visitors at CEATEC 2019
SB Drive provided the remote operation management system called ‘Dispatcher’ to enable on-time performance of the shuttle
Last week, a driverless shuttle transported visitors on public roads near the Makuhari Messe convention center during the CEATEX 2019 digital trade show in Chiba, Japan, according to a report by Japan Times. The driverless shuttle, developed by French start-up Navya, picked up the visitors at a rotary and drove along the 1.5-kilometer-long route on a pre-determined schedule.
