Test vehicle will demonstrate Chauffer SAE Level 4 autonomous driving capability in MaaS driving environment

Toyota Research Institute (TRI), a Toyota company focusing on autonomous driving and robotics, will offer public demonstration rides in its Platform (P4) automated driving test vehicle in Tokyo, Japan, in next summer, the company said in a press release on 24 October. The test vehicle will demonstrate the Japanese automaker’s “Chauffer” SAE Level 4 capabilities in a specific mobility as a service (MaaS) driving environment in Tokyo’s Odiaba district.
