JLR developing ‘Lightweight Electronics in Simplified Architecture’ research technology for car
Automaker says LESA will allow curved screens on dashboards and drivers to customize color-changing body panels
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is developing Lightweight Electronics in Simplified Architecture (LESA) research technology for use in vehicle interiors, the automaker said in a press release on 5 November. The technology, widely used in flexible wearables and curved OLED televisions, has potentials to change vehicle cabins of the future and enhance users in-vehicle experience.
