Toyota and BYD to set up JV for EV R&D
New 50:50 JV is expected to be established in 2020 in China
Toyota and BYD have entered into an agreement to set up a joint venture (JV) for research and development (R&D) of battery electric vehicles (BEVs), the companies announced in a joint press release on 7 October.
