Honda joins Autonomous Vehicle Safety Consortium
AVSC was established in April this year
Honda has joined the Autonomous Vehicle Safety Consortium (AVSC), the consortium said in a press release on 7 November. AVSC, established in April this year, is focusing on the safety of autonomous vehicles. “The adoption and acceptance of AV technologies is an international challenge. The combined expertise assembled as part of the AVSC represents the type of collaborative thinking that’s needed if we’re to develop global solutions,” said Dr. Edward Straub, executive director of the AVSC.
