GM sells shuttered plant in US state Ohio to electric pickup truck start-up Lordstown Motors
New owner will produce electric pick up trucks at the plant by the end of next year
GM has completed the sale of its Lordstown Assembly Plant in Ohio, United States, to an electric vehicle (EV) startup for an undisclosed amount, Reuters reported last week. The startup, Lordstown Motors Corp (LMC), plans to revamp the shutter plant to begin production of an electric pick-up truck called ‘Endurance’ by the end of next year.
