Nidec completes acquisition of Omron’s automotive electronics business
Acquisition strengthens Nidec’s presence in automotive market
Nidec Corporation has completed the previously-announced acquisition of automotive electronics business from Omron Corporation, the company said in a press release. The acquisition was completed on 31 October. Nidec also acquired a set of Omron subsidiaries—Omron Automotive Electronics de Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. in Mexico and Omron Componentes Automotivos LTDA in Brazil.
