Pirelli develops smart tyres that transmit road condition data via 5G network
Company says the tyres can detect and transmit information related to road surface conditions to other vehicles nearby through the network
Italian tyre manufacturer Pirelli announced on 14 November that its tyres have transmitted data regarding road surface conditions that was captured by its intelligent tyres over the 5G network.
