Immersion Corporation has signed its licensing agreement with Continental that provides the Germany-based supplier access to its patented touch feedback technology, also known as haptics, for use in automotive interfaces, the company said in a press release on 20 November. Continental has been using Immersion’s haptics solution in its in-vehicle touchscreen and touch pads since 2014.
