BMW awards battery cell contracts worth over USD11 billion
BMW increases its previous order to CATL from EUR4 billion to EUR7.3 billion, signs new contract with Samsung SDI
BMW has awarded electric vehicle (EV) battery cell contracts of over EUR10 billion (USD11 billion) to China-based Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) and South Korea-based Samsung SDI, the company announced in a press release on 21 November.
