Toyota, Nishi-Nippon Railroad begin full-scale operation of ‘my route’ multi-modal mobility service in Japan
Kyushu Railway Company joins project as third partner
On 28 November, Toyota Motor and Nishi-Nippon Railroad (Nishitetsu) started full-scale operation of multi-modal mobility service ‘my route’ for smartphone in Fukuoka City and Kitakyushu City in Japan, the Japanese automaker said in a press release last week. The two companies have launched the multi-modal transportation service project in collaboration with service providers in the areas of traffic, shopping and event information. Apart from Toyota and Nishitetsu, Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu) has joined the project.
