X-FAB, AutoChips begin mass production of TPMS chipset
The chipset contains an enhanced low power consumption microcontroller, a pressure sensor, temperature sensor and an accelerometer
X-FAB Silicon Foundries and automotive electronics chip design company AutoChips have begun volume production of a highly advanced Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) chipset, the companies said in a press release on 28 November.
