WeRide begins trials of L4 self-driving taxis in Chinese city Guangzhou
WeRide is initially deploying “dozens of” Nissan LEAF all-electric cars, powered by WeRide’s full-stack Level 4 autonomous driving software and hardware, for self-driving robo-taxi service
On 28 November, WeRide launched a Level 4 self-driving taxi service pilot, called RoboTaxi, in Guangzhou, China, the company said in a press release today (3 December). In the first phase of operation, WeRide is deploying “dozens of” Nissan LEAF all-electric cars, powered by WeRide’s full-stack Level 4 autonomous driving software and hardware.
