BlackBerry enters strategic collaboration Marelli in China

Marelli’s Electronics Business Unit has been using BlackBerry’s QNX Hypervisor for Safety and QNX Software Development Platform 7.0 to develop embedded cockpit systems since 2016

BlackBerry has entered a strategic partnership with Marelli’s Electronic Business Unit in China to integrate its ‘QNX Platform for Digital Cockpit’ in Marelli’s electronic cockpit (eCockpit) and Digital Cluster solution, the company said in press release on 10 December. The integrated solution will enable automakers to deliver an in-vehicle experience that is similar that end users enjoy in their home and offices. BlackBerry expects the integrated solution to be used by Marelli’s customers in the world’s largest automotive market.
