Continental launches ‘Smart City Mobility and Transportation Hub’ in US
Second Smart City Mobility and Transportation Hub after the one in Chinese city Changsha
Continental has launched a ‘Smart City Mobility and Transportation Hub’ in Auburn Hills, Michigan, United States, the company said in a press release on 18 December. At its new hub, there are two intersections which the German supplier has made intelligent by integrating its sensors and software. This technology have potential to increase safety by communicating hidden dangers approaching connected vehicles and pedestrians. The technology also contributes in enhancing comfort, improving traffic flow and reducing pollution.
