CES 2020: HERE unveils ‘HERE Lanes’ 3D road models for ADAS

HERE Lanes and vehicle sensors work in tandem to enhance performance and safety of ADAS features like lane keep assist

At the CES 2020 last week, HERE Technologies unveiled ‘HERE Lanes’, a digital representation of global road network for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and driver safety. The solution enhances a vehicle to position itself in a lane while providing drivers with lane level-visual guidance. HERE Lanes feeds ADAS and mobile applications with precise lane topology, geometry and attribute data such as the rule of the road, vehicle height restriction, lane count and centerline, direction of travel and the slope and curvature of intersections.
