Toyota develops ‘Acceleration Suppression Function’ leveraging big data from connected cars
Toyota aims to install the function in new cars and introduce a new retrofit accelerator control system from the summer
Toyota Motor Corp has developed an acceleration suppression function which utilizes data from connected cars to keep a track on the accelerator and control acceleration, the Japanese automaker said in a press release on 3 February.
