Lexus begins local production in India
ES 300h is the first Lexus model to be produced in India
Lexus has commenced the local production of its cars at an assembly plant near Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, the company said in a press release. The premium car brand of Toyota began local production with assembly of its ES300h luxury hybrid sedan last month. Lexus plans to make available locally produced sedan to its customers from this month.
