Malaysia launches National Automotive Policy 2020
NAP2020 aims to develop the country toward becoming a regional leader in automotive manufacturing, engineering, and technology
On 21 February, Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad officially launched the country’s new National Automotive Policy 2020 (NAP 2020) at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry’s (MITI) office in Kuala Lumpur, malaysian-based newspaper The Star reported. The new policy, an enhancement of the previous NAP 2014, aims to develop the country toward becoming a regional leader in automotive manufacturing, engineering and technology.
