COVID-19 outbreak: Honda, Nissan to cut output at Japanese plants due to parts supply concerns

Japanese automakers Honda and Nissan plan to adjust output at some of their domestic plants due to shortage in auto parts supply from China amid novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, Kyodo News reported on 3 March, citing sources familiar with the development. Honda will reduce production at its Sayama and Yorii plants in Saitama Prefecture for a week or so due to supply chain issue in March.
