TRI-AD completes proof of concepts on HD map building for surface roads
Maxar, HERE, TomTom, and NTT DATA were among the companies involved in the PoC
Toyota Research Institute-Advanced Development (TRI-AD) has announced that it has successfully completed proof of concepts, showing high-definition map building for surface roads with relative accuracy of less than 50 centimeters, a company press release on 10 March showed.
