Novelis to divest Aleris’ Kentucky plant for planned acquisition of Aleris
Novelis can only close the acquisition prior to divesting Aleris' North American assets once it obtains the Commission's approval for Aleris' plant in Belgium
The US DOJ has announced a decision that clears the way for Novelis Inc.'s proposed acquisition of Aleris Corp., according to separate press releases from DOJ and Novelis on 9 March.
