Plant will reopen on 17 March

Volkswagen of America will close its Chattanooga plant in Tennessee in the United States on Monday (16 March) to undertake preventative action to sanitize and deep clean the facility as a precautionary measure against the spreading coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Automotive News Europe reported on 15 March.
