Alphabet unit Waymo said it was temporarily suspending robotaxi services in Phoenix that require a backup driver

Self-driving technology companies, including Waymo, Cruise, Argo, and Pony.ai have suspended autonomous vehicle testing that involves backup drivers, as the self-driving firms are trying to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, Reuters reported on 18 March.
