COVID-19 pandemic: Marelli extends European shutdown until 13 April

Company has also suspended operations at several of its plants in North America

Marelli has extended temporary suspension of production activities at majority of its plants in Europe until 13 April due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the company said in a press release sent to IHS Markit on 3 April. According to the company, the extension is applicable to all its European production facilities, except for “a number of local cases where operations will continue on a reduced scale, in line with specific customers’ seeds.”
