COVID-19 pandemic: Valmet begins production of safety mask at Polish plant

Company already produced 1,200 safety masks on 3 April

Valmet Automotive has started production of safety masks at its Zary plant in Poland, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company said in a press release on 8 April. According to Valmet, its Zary plant, which makes roof systems for convertible for premium cars and kinematic systems, had to conduct a little preparation to begin production of safety masks for healthcare professionals. Once the plant received specified materials from the hospital of the Polish city of Legnica, it started production of safety masks. The plant had already produced 1,200 safety masks on 3 April.
