AutoX establishes robotaxi operation center in Shanghai
New center will also serve as AutoX’s big data center
Mainland Chinese autonomous driving startup AutoX has established a robotaxi operation center in Shanghai, China, TheStar reported on 11 April. The 80,000 square feet ‘Shanghai RoboTaxi Operation Center’ houses tools for operating a large fleet of autonomous vehicles. The center will also serve as a big data center, collecting and storing data captured from daily operation of the fleet and from simulation cloud computers running nonstop for virtual tests.
