Company has trained its AI and computer vision on use cases with a face mask

EyeSight Technologies, an Israel-based company specializing in in-car driver and occupant monitoring technology, has announced that its platform can now detect distracted or drowsy driving even when drivers are wearing face masks, Venture Beat reported on 14 April. The latest update in EyeSight’s driver monitoring system (DMS) platform comes as some countries including the United States, China, and South Korea recommend people to wear masks in public to protect the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
