CY Vision is working on holographic imaging technology which is expected to replace the standard imaging systems that add 3D perception
Revo Capital, a Turkey-based VC firm, has invested TRY13.5 million (about USD2 million) in CY Vision, a US-based startup, specializing in 3D AR HUD, Fortune reported on 10 April. Founded in 2016, CY Vision is working on holographic imaging technology which is expected to replace the standard imaging systems that are currently used to add 3D perception by adding depth to the images, but creates physical and social discomfort for the user. The new technology also forms the basis for more advanced AR/VR technologies of the future.
