SIAM, ACMA, and FADA urged the Indian government to allow the entire automotive value chain to recommence operations in unison

The three key automotive industry associations in India—the Society of Indian Automobiles Manufactures (SIAM), the Automotive Components Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), and the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA)—have urged the Indian government to give go-ahead signal to restart manufacturing operations in the country, Autocar India reported last week. The three associations representing automakers, suppliers and dealers, jointly wrote a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs to “permit the entire automotive value chain to recommence operations in unison.”
