Cerence to power Ford SYNC 4 infotainment system with conversational AI and voice recognition
Ford unveiled its fourth-generation SYNC 4 communication and entertainment system in October 2019
Ford has selected Cerence’s Cerence Drive products to deliver advanced, conversational artificial intelligence (AI), and voice recognition to the Ford SYNC 4 communication and entertainment system, Cerence said in a press release on 2 June. Cerence Drive is Cerence’s portfolio of products, services, toolkits, and innovation to help automakers deliver advanced in-vehicle user experience. Leveraging Cerence Drive products, Ford’s next-generation infotainment system delivers enhanced AI-powered technologies, as well as embedded and connected services to create conversational and safer driving experience for Ford drivers.
