Mitsubishi Electric to acquire Sharp’s factory in Japan to expand power device business
Production facility is expected to begin operation from November 2021
Mitsubishi Electric has announced that it will acquire a plant in Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture in Japan from Sharp Fukuyama Semiconductor, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sharp Corporation, a company press release on 11 June read.
