Mainland Chinese AV startup AutoX gets permit from California DMV to test driverless car
Third company to receive permit to test its AVs without safety drivers
AutoX Technologies has received a permit from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to test its autonomous vehicles (AV) fleet on public roads in San Jose without a safety driver, the company said in a press release on 17 July.
