EESL, Noida Authority enters agreement to promote EV charging stations in India

EESL will make an upfront investment for operation and maintenance of public charging infrastructure, while Noida Authority will provide space for the charging infrastructure.

Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a joint venture of PSUs under the Ministry of Power and the government of India, has signed an agreement with the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) to promote the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and installation of public EV charging stations and related infrastructure in India, according to a company press release on 9 July.
