UK government launches consultation on automated lane keeping system
UK expects ALKS technology to be available in cars entering the UK market from Spring 2021
The UK government has launched consultation on automated lane keeping system (ALKS) technology which is capable of taking control of vehicle at low speed and keep it in lane on motorways without any input from the driver, the GOV.UK reported on 18 August.
