FREYR signs MOU to set up battery cell plant in Norway

Construction of the 2 GWh fast-track production facility is expected to start in the second quarter of 2021

Battery maker FREYR has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Norway for setting up a lithium-ion battery cell facility in Mo Industrial Park (MIP), the company announced in a press release on 28 August.
