Newsight Imaging, LeiShen Intelligent partner to deliver pulsed-based 3D automotive lidar
The new lidar is specifically designed to meet strict demands of automotive makers, will reach the market in the first half of 2018
Newsight Imaging has entered a partnership with LeiShen Intelligent, a global provider of high-performance laser LiDAR systems, to deliver V-LiDAR, a 3D pulsed-based lidar for automotive applications used in ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) and in autonomous vehicles, the startup announced in a press release in November.
